As you are aware, DKI Jakarta and Banten have been experiencing heavy rainfall lately. The extreme weather conditions has resulted in many areas of Jabodetabek, including certain parts of Lippo Village to affected by floods in lower areas.
TMD officers are working round the clock to clear the rainwater puddles from the streets and roads as well as clearing fallen trees and debris. A temporary pond is also being carried out to accommodate the rainwater storage. TMD continues to monitor the low-level areas to prevent flooding and looking into new effective ways to handle the flood situation with recovery measures.
While the situation in certain parts of Lippo Village has returned to normal condition, BMKG forecasts a prolonged period of extreme weather conditions with heavy rain till March 2021.
