Post Image Ever wonder who makes all those graffitis on our public spaces, street signs, light poles and fences? Such graffiti defaces our city assets and creates an eyesore. How can we put a stop to this?

You can help. Work together with us and report these acts when you see it happening.

TMD has worked in great lengths to clean up all those graffitis and still we find them propping up in different places.

TMD recently found 2 (two) signs installed on the side of the road in front of the Himalayan Park Cluster area damaged and filled with paint doodles.

Vandalism is destructive. In Lippo Village, there are hundreds of road signs that function as traffic control tools to convey important information whether in the form of warnings, prohibitions or instructions with the aim of maintaining security, safety and order for road users. Its existence is for the benefit of everyone, both residents and visitors.

We show here a photo of the road sign that was recently subjected to vandalism.

In case you saw anyone or persons deliberately doing this act of vandalism, please report to TMD immediately. You can help put to stop these unlawful acts.

Graffiti stands out but know that there are other kinds of activity that can be categorized as vandalism:
1. Doodling (graffiti), such as roadside walls, school walls, bridges, bus stops, buildings, public telephones, and so on.
2. Damage to trees by cutting, picking or removing plants, cutting flowers in public and common areas.
3. Plucking, such as picking flowers and picking other people's fruit without asking the owner's permission.
4. Wilful act of taking other people's belongings, taking plants, and so on just for the sake of false gratification.
5. Causing wilful damage to the environment neatly arranged by other people, for example, gouging other people's doors, moving other people's plants, throwing garbage in any place such as throwing garbage on roads and rivers.

These acts of vandalism are unlawful and cause property and personal loss to others. Such act is subject to the following Criminal Code:

1) KUHP article 406 paragraph 1:
' Any person who intentionally and unlawfully destroys, damages, renders unusable or removes something wholly or partly belonging to another person, shall be punished by a maximum imprisonment of two years and eight months or a maximum fine of four thousand five hundred rupiah.
