It has been quite a journey, from its early beginnings in 1995. Imperial Klub Golf (IKG) Lippo Village celebrates its 23rd Anniversary and proud to be the recipient of numerous awards from the world of Golf as The Rolex World’s Top 1000 Golf Courses with its 18-hole championship golf course chosen to be the venue of prestigious tournaments including the Jakarta Classic.

As part of the celebrations, IKG organized a Par 3 Tournament on Friday, September 21, Simon Subiyanto, General Manager of IKG said, “This competition is a form of appreciation for Club members and loyal customers of IKG who have been playing golf at IKG. Par 3 Tournament are valid for 20 holes. For every hole there is one hole with a total of more than IDR 1 billion.

This Par 3 Tournament has become a distinctive feature of IKG and you cannot find it elsewhere, where a wider venue may be more advantageous. Cooperating with various sponsors, both from Lippo Group and others, makes this tournament very popular. 280 participants have taken part in this tournament, those 130 participants competed from 6.30 AM and 150 participants played at 1 PM in the afternoon.

“This tournament is meant to be fun and not a series, but the participants are very talented. Hole-in-One prizes worth IDR 25 million from Hole 1 to Hole 18. There is also a Hole-in-One Grand Prize with the winner taking home a Toyota Sienta, and a grand lucky draw of Toyota Calya giving a chance to everyone to win this fantastic car,” added Simon Subiyanto.
