As a township Lippo Village has many trees spread along the Boulevard, clusters and green areas. All keep the city cool, green and healthy.

TMD lovingly takes care of these trees. Maintenance and rejuvenation in areas needing it continues to be a priority. Planting more trees and upgrading the landscape, replacing the old ones or unhealthy trees with new growth are key. And, TMD keeps our town green, healthy and beautiful as you can see around town.

We have 167,000 trees that provides plenty of oxygen, coolness and fresh breeze in Lippo Village. Trees also provide shade and reduces surface and air temperature. When you enter Lippo Village you will notice that we have a lower air temperature. The goal to keep our temperatures low inspires our Environmental Team to seek ways to reduce rising temperatures and contribute to efforts to stop global warming.

TMD has always planted trees as one of top priority elements in Lippo Village. We strongly ask residents not to remove healthy trees planted by TMD at public areas, parks, verges or even inside the resident’s property. If you find an unhealthy tree due to insect infestation or already old, please contact TMD to get permission to cut or remove such tree. However, you must prepare a replacement tree to be planted in order to maintain the greenery and good living environment in Lippo Village.

Rethink before you ask TMD to help remove your tree. It can only be removed if it is seen to cause damage to your property or surroundings or unhealthy.
