ID Tag for Your Pet

Post Image Pet ID tags are important for the safety of your pet. However, TMD has noticed that ID tags on pets in Lippo Village are still uncommon. Only few of the owners actually put pet ID tags on their furry friends.

What are the reasons why TMD strongly encourages every owner to have ID tags on their dogs or cats?

Here’s everything you need to know why:

1) There is always a chance your pet might get lost. 1 in 3 pets will get lost at some point in their lifetime and 90% of them never return home. ID tags will be easier for contacting the pet owner and bring your pet home safely when it is found.
2) Your pet is more likely to receive help. Many people are willing to stop and help a stray that may look like a family-owned pet. Without a tag or collar, people might be hesitant to approach and their chance of being rescue will be small.
3) Unexpected events happen. A natural disaster or an accident or a house fire could result to the lost of your pet. It’s best to be prepared for these kinds of events. With your pet having an ID tag, it would be a simple way to rescue your pet.

Write down your home address in your pet’s ID tag. Do not let them roam around without being supervised. When walking your pets, please have them on a leash and make sure they are wearing their ID tags.

TMD Animal Control will catch the strays, dog, or cat found roaming around without ID tag and if found without an ID tag there will be a fee charged when you claim your pet to cover some of our operational expenses.
