Are you prepared for the rainy season? Climate change, extreme and unpredictable weather conditions increase the flood areas. On February 20, 2021, heavy rain resulted many areas of DKI Jakarta and Banten experiencing floods including lower areas in Lippo Village.

As part of Disaster Preparedness Plan, TMD immediately deployed its Emergency Task Force to remove fallen trees and cleared roads with debris and rubbish caused by the fast moving waters from the rain. Power supply was affected, TMD coordinated closely with PLN to ensure power supply resumed quickly. Lippo Village water trucks were on standby to distribute water to residences in case water supply was temporarily suspended.

In these challenging moments, TMD was working round the clock to bring normality back in Lippo Village and reduce the inconvenience of residents.
