Post Image We are still facing the rainy days, even the BMKG predicted that the peak of rainy season will be in January-February 2021, which coincides with the peak of the Asian Monsoon. Some area will get accumulated rainfall with very high density that need to be aware.

Since October 2020 TMD already prepared and implemented some mitigating floods to anticipate the heavy rains, such as the following:
Installation of lake sluice automation to ensure that the floodgates function automatically when it rains.
Water level sensor as an early warning system in the area.
Dam making in several locations to regulate water sequences during rain.
Increase pump capacity to speed up the water disposal process besides the gravity methods. Lake dredging and drainage cleaning to increase the storage volume of 7 lakes or the retention ponds.

53 dams at LV North and LV West

Lake normalization and additional retention ponds

TMD still continue to do a routine drainage cleaning, but in some locations there are channels that require more attention to be cleared. Weed and grass easily grow, especially during the rainy season with plenty of water and it will develop very fast in water channels. It can affect the run of water flow.

We also have 24 hour monitoring team to check the condition of Lippo Village. If there is any sign of dangers, emergency teams will be send immediately to the location.

Thank you for your help to keep the environment and our water channels clean. Get used to always dispose of waste in place and not into the drains.
