Karawaci Presbyterian Church (KPC) is an international, English-language Church in Lippo Karawaci. We are a global congregation representing over 20 countries and several continents, including expatriates living in Indonesia for mission or work purposes, repatriates who have returned home to Indonesia from overseas studies or work assignments, university students from across Indonesia and Southeast Asia, and local Indonesians who want to attend an English-language fellowship. Our congregation is also diverse in age and stage of life, including senior citizens, families with children, singles, young adults, and university students.
The Lippo Karawaci community is somewhat transient, as mission and work assignments change; but we have experienced healthy continuity and growth as a church. Faithful biblical exposition in our preaching and a joyful worshipping community draw many to join us for as long as God calls them to this area. Our leadership includes 2 ruling elders (one Indonesian and one American), an Indonesian associate pastor, and 4 deacons (three are Indonesians along with one American).

On Sundays, we utilize facilities for worship services and Bible classes on the campus of Universitas Pelita Harapan (UPH). The church offers Bible classes and small groups during the week for fellowship, discipleship, and prayer.

KPC is part of a new denomination in Indonesia, the Presbyterian Reformed Evangelical Church of Indonesia (GPRII), which was established in Indonesia by the Presbyterian Church in America. GPRII already has 3 significant church plants (mission churches) in Manado, Palembang, and Kupang, with more to come and a plan to prepare pastors and other leaders for these new churches.

Our focus is especially on the Bible as the Word of God and our guiding theme is “The Word of God for the People of God in Karawaci to Indonesia.”

Come join us in person for worship on Sundays at 8:00 AM, currently meeting during the pandemic in the open air, covered gymnasium on the UPH campus, practicing healthy social distancing and with masks required.
