Post Image You may have noticed that there are still vacant property lots and it might be just right by your own property. TMD’s Environment Team is taking care of these lots so you do not have to worry in case you are wondering why the lot has been left vacant by the owner or not yet built on and perhaps at times may look untidy.

Our Environment Landscape team continues its program to clean these vacant lot which are found in some residential clusters. Grass are cut and kept to a minimum standard height before it gets trimmed again. Some trees that may have been planted previously such as banana trees or papaya trees will be removed to keep the lot tidy and orderly.

We also appreciate that many residents have planted in their front and back yards and they contribute to the overall green environment of Lippo Village. When planting, please consider plants are provides you with the most benefit not only in terms of aesthetics but also that plants do not pose health hazards such as attracting mosquitoes. Do not allow your garden to be a haven for mosquitoes. Check regularly so that plant containers do not hold stagnant water that will allow mosquitoes to nest on it.

TMD would also like to seek your cooperation by not planting on the common areas and particularly at the vacant lots next or near your home. This is simply to avoid any misunderstanding with the property owner who has not been able to use the lot for their own reason. TMD is contacting these owners and advise them to also regularly check and maintain their property for the benefit of all residents.

You might see our Landscape team cleaning the empty lots and removing fruit trees that have grown wild and not kept properly. Please let us know if you have other areas you think that we should be looking at to cut or remove wild plantings that may be attracting pests and negatively affect your neighbourhood.

Your information is vital to us in keeping your environment clean and green.
