Every last Saturday of the month, Lippo Village residents and nearby communities come early to have some fun while getting fit for the SVW (Saturday Village Walk) in the village. This particular Saturday, April 27th 2019 was more lively than usual when different groups of ‘walkers’ came to join.

A group passing the Lippo Village CBD area from Maxx Box towards the Benton Junction proudly carried their banner “Purple Day Fun Walk”. Purple Day is an international movement dedicated to raising awareness about epilepsy throughout the world. The Fun Walk was arranged by Siloam Hospitals, which invites people suffering from epilepsy and their families to perform and exercise together during the SVW. Some activities were also held at Maxx Box Lippo Village.

Then, the Dog Lovers Community came to join in. Together with Maxx Box Lippo Village, they held a "Doggie Fun Walk 2K" on that day - where participants could ran along with their beloved dogs for one round from Maxx Box to the CBD area of Lippo Village and return. At MaxxBox, the dogs were treated to a pet health check and their owners and admirers enjoyed a session of Zumba and were able to check out the bazaar items put up for great sale prices!
