Walk Lippo Village!

Post Image Realizing that vehicle traffic has consistently increased over the years, TMD saw the need to add more pedestrian paths and started planning alternative ways to provide residents an option to leave their cars at home or a distant parking lot and walk safe around the city.

You may have been using some of these pedestrian walkways in the Lippo Village CBD area to get around to Maxxbox, Aryaduta or Siloam Hospital and to UPH, Benton Junction restaurants and the mall. Lippo Village Central has been designed with paths, safe and friendly for pedestrians, especially for our residents who love to walk as a daily routine and exercise.

Recently, our Township Engineering Team completed and opened the pedestrian path at Lippo Village West, across the UPH Mediccal Faculty to the Dadap Junction. In the past, the road next to the existing small river was only a dirt path covered with tall grass. While TMD continue to upgrade the surrounding areas, residents who enjoy their long, leisurely walks or jog around the town, can now use this newly constructed paved pedestrian path. A guard rail fence was added in sloped and slippery areas for added safety.

Let us hear from you on how these new pedestrians walkways have made a positive impact on you and your family! Share your experience and email your feedback to TMD@lippokarawaci.co.id.

More pedestrian areas are being planned in different areas and work will be carried out in stages.
