Post Image Garbage is unavoidable. If not managed properly, it endangers the environment through pollution. Air, water and land pollution will become a major problem. Not to mention, problems arising from bacteria that breeds in it. Another issue that is no less important is comfort in activities in the home environment.

There are two types of garbage discarded by Lippo Village residents.

Which garbage is the responsibility of TMD, and which one becomes the responsibility of the residents?

Let’s work on it together!

The garbage that is the responsibility of TMD are:

• Everyday household waste in the form of waste paper, bottles, cans, and kitchen waste.
• Trash from landscaping maintenance works in the public areas, such as the cut branches, grass clippings or small amounts of your daily trees trimming that have been placed in public communal waste.

The garbage transportation uses different trucks:
• The
orange truck or government truck that will take household waste
• The white truck which belongs to the TMD that will take the garbage from landscaping works in public areas (available in Lippo Village West only).
Yellow and blue trucks that will pick up landscape maintenance waste, especially tree trimming and environmental gardening.

For household waste, please tie the bag tightly and put it in a closed trash bin at the time of garbage collection.

It is important to use bins with lid according to the standards recommended by TMD to avoid pests or animals getting into the garbage and also, keep the garbage dry during the rain and prevent it from leaking foul smells that can disturb the surrounding environment.

Please do not use plastic bags as trash and hang them on the trees, they are very unpleasant to look at and we won't be picking up the trash.

Moreover, do not put garbage bags in the middle of the road median! We have seen it being done and some have complained about this unneighbourly practice. Please train your household help on how to dispose garbage properly.

Which garbage is the responsibility of the residents?
• Waste plant: the results of tree trimming inside the residential property, such as the remains of cut trees, branches in a large amount.
• Waste building materials: debris, materials produced and used for renovation work or new home construction.
• Waste household appliances: used furniture, used refrigerator, broken TV, etc.

These garbage must be transported out from Lippo Village area by the resident’s private vehicle or by appointed contractors, with the cost borne by the residents. TMD does not allow burning of garbage in Lippo Village.

If you need help, please contact the TMD Call Center at 021-55777557 for waste disposal services. The garbage that is the responsibility of the residents and placed outside the property or placed in the public area would be carried or cleaned by TMD, and disposal costs will be charged to the owner of waste materials.

The quality of your living environment can be seen when residents work closely together with TMD to keep our our township, Lippo Village, clean and green and a home we can all be proud of!
