Our TMD officers have been on patrol and found not only cars but also motorcycles parked on these vacant lots, road verges and other landscaped green areas.

Know the rules and know where to park your vehicles. Stay within your property.

Parking on landscaped green areas destroy the aesthetics of the residential area and environment in general. Take your motorcycles and park on your own driveway. Keep safety in mind. Parking where your motorcycle or car is open to the elements of bad weather can result in damage when tree branches might fall on your vehicle. TMD will not be held responsible for the damages when this happens. Do not take the risk. Instead, protect your vehicles by making sure they are parked within your own property area.

Make room for emergency vehicles by not parking on the street. When roads are congested, emergency vehicles may not be able to pass easily to give assistance to residents in need or in the event of an emergency situation. It can be you or someone in your household who needs help. Keep roads wide open so that emergency services are not delayed.

Adjust the number of vehicles according to the parking space you have. Not only it is smart, it is even more smart because you are being economical.
