The main responsibility of this department is the building guideline implementation system through its Building Control Department (BCD). Ensuring that these rules are adhered to is everyone’s guarantee against environmental degradation and as a consequence, an inevitable eventual drop in property values.
Living in any community requires an appreciation of our neighbor’s environmental needs, not just our own. Many indeed have broken BCD’s rules, but generally it can be said that the result of these unapproved works has not improved the area, indeed the reverse has happened.
Considerable time is spent reasoning with those who have already contravened or proposed to break these rules. It is very important that TMD is seen to support those who are demonstrating that, by following what are really quite simple regulations, they are helping to build a community spirit, where everyone respects their neighbor’s rights too.
So, in your, our customer’s best interests, TMD Building Guidelines will be enforced. Offenders have been, or will be informed and asked to conform to the rules of the town in which they have chosen to live. Through the implementation of these rules, every investor in the city will enjoy the resulting environment and also see attractive increases in their property investment values.

Community Development Department
Community Development Department handles Customer Responsibility Management(CRM) which consist of Customer Service Helpdesk, Call Center and Emergency Call 911.
Customer Service Help Desk Located at the TMD office, in Lippo Cyber Park, Lippo Village North, the Customer Service Help Desk serves the residents by providing information, receiving complaints, filing event permits, filing building permits, etc. They are ready to serve the residents from Monday to Friday from 08.00AM-05.00PM, Saturday from 08.00AM-03.00PM, and Sunday/ public holiday from 09.00AM-01.00PM.
Call Center If any residents has questions, complaints or requires information about the environment, garbage removal, parking, water supply, street lighting (PJU) or any other TMD services, please contact TMD Call Center at (021) 55 777 557. Professional officers are serving residents every day, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 08.00AM-05.30PM. The existence of Call Center is very practical and efficient as the residents do not need to come and queue at the Customer Service Help Desk to obtain the required information.
Emergency Call 911 For the comfort and safety of Lippo Village’s residents, Town Management (TMD) provides the facility of “Emergency Call 911”. In conditions that require Emergency assistance, such as fire and environmental hazards, electrical short circuit, gas leaks or crime, residents can contact the Emergency Call 911 at 0800 1900 911 immediately. Emergency Call 911 officers are always ready to serve you 24 hours a day.
This Department also provide the service of Resident Relations - delivery of homes to new residents, maintaining TMD’s database covering census-taking. This greatly assists TMD in their management projection and their responses to such as Government and media queries.
Other responsibilities of this Department are concerning publications under Event and Publications which handles all the street-side advertising and official publications such as Lippo Village magazine, the issuing of urgent information fliers, preparation of brochures etc.
